Following a productive site visit at the MCDO office, the CTFK/GHAI team, which included representatives from MCDO and CTFK Ethiopia, led by Mr. Bruck, had the opportunity to meet with Ms. Heran Gerba, the Director General of the Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority (EFDA).

During the meeting, Ms. Heran warmly welcomed the team and provided an insightful overview of the inception, processes, and expansion of the AASFI initiative. The discussion also addressed several key issues raised by the CTFK/GHAI team, demonstrating a collaborative effort towards improving public health.
